A.K. Gardner Law Secures $80,000 Settlement for Montgomery County Dog Bite Victim

HOUSTON, Texas — October 15, 2025 — A.K. Gardner Law, PLLC announced today that it has obtained an $80,000 settlement on behalf of a client who was attacked by an unrestrained dog in Montgomery County, Texas.

The client was bitten by a dog that was running loose in a subdivision in Conroe, Texas, while the client was walking her own small dog on a leash. The attack left her with bruising and puncture wounds. Her medical treatment was limited, her medical bills were modest, and she has made a full recovery with no lasting physical injury.

Montgomery County is widely regarded as one of the most defense-friendly venues in Texas. Its juries have a reputation for skepticism toward personal injury claims, particularly those without significant medical expenses or permanent injury. Insurers routinely value low-medical-expense claims in venues like Montgomery County at a fraction of this amount.

After attorney’s fees of $32,000.00 and case expenses of $842.04, the client received $47,157.96.
